Weihai Qiquan Woodworking Machinery Co., Ltd.

　　Qiquan Woodworking Machinery was established in 1978 with the original name of Weihai Caomiaozi Woodworking Machinery Factory, which was reorganized and renamed as Weihai Qiquan Wood Machinery Group Co., Ltd in 1996 and later in 2001 restructured and renamed as Weihai Qiquan Woodworking Machinery Co., Ltd, partly owned by the staffs of the company.
　　In Feb. 1980, the technicians of Qiquan Woodworking Machinery made sophisticated study and therefore brought forth MQ4815, the popular multi-functional woodworking micro-machines with superior performance at low prices, which met the individual requirement of the woodworking decoration in construction and the doors & windows making industry. In 1984, Qiquan Woodworking Machinery took Qiquan brand as the product trademark by application to Chinese Industrial & Commercial Administration Bureau in 1984. Furthermore, the products passed provincial level certification and were sold to overseas markets through the agent Shandong Machinery Equipment Imp & Exp Corporation. In 1987, Qiquan Woodworking Machinery was approved as Electromechanical Products Import & Export Autonomy Enlarged Enterprise by the Ministry of Foreign Trade. Qiquan products were well sold to markets throughout the country and were acknowledged by markets both at home and abroad. Furthermore, Qiquan Woodworking Machinery was honored with the title of Provincial Advanced Enterprise.
　　Qiquan Woodworking Machinery ranked high in comprehensive economic benefit indices with its popular Qiquan products in 1995. Qiquan multifunctional woodworking machine tools were honored with Scientific Fruit Gold Prize of National Third Technology Talents Convention.
　　Qiquan Woodworking Machinery brought forth Qiquan Art Troupe in 1996, which made cultural life of employees more colorful.
　　In 1997, Weihai Qiquan Staffs & Workers School was created with three grades: the knowledge intensive class, the professional technique class and the secondary professional class. A number of youths underwent three years of amateur training and earned diplomas.
　　On Jan. 18, 1998, a joyful day, Qiquan Woodworking Machinery held the 20th anniversary celebration, fortunately attended by the supervisory leaders and customer at home at abroad. The Qiquan song, lyricized by Qu Bo and vocalized by Fu Disheng, represented the inner spirit of the Qiquan culture and was brought into the public view by running in many TV programs. Consequently, the advertisement achieved positive response. Moreover, the song was burned into fine CDs with the introduction of the products and company and dispersed to customers at home and abroad, which impressed a complete image of Qiquan Woodworking Machinery on customers.
　　The advancement of company culture helped to raise the innovative sense; as a result, massive new technologies, new production processes and new products were created. Qiquan Woodworking Machinery reaped more than 20 patents at national levels, in which the cabinet serrulate band saw was honored with the title of Shandong Fifth Patent Innovative Prize. Furthermore, Qiquan Woodworking Machinery was evaluated and approved as Strictly Abiding by Contract Credit Enterprise. In addition, Qiquan Woodworking Machinery acquired Import & Export Trade License approved by the Ministry of Foreign Trade. The products were sold to more than 20 countries and regions.
　　In 2000, Qiquan Woodworking Machinery was honored with the title of 20th Century Chinese Woodworking Machinery Industry Renowned Enterprise by Chinese Forestry and Machinery Association Wood Processing Machinery Committee. Meanwhile, Liu Xinben, Chairman of the Board was honored with the title of 20th Century Chinese Woodworking Machinery Industry Ten Outstanding Talents. Qiquan Woodworking Machinery passed ISO9000 International Quality Management System Certification. Besides, Qiquan brand was evaluated and approved as Shandong Superior Trademark by Shandong Industrial and Commercial Administration.
　　In 2001, Qiquan Woodworking Machinery was honored with the title of Century Prominent Enterprise by Chinese Forestry and Machinery Association Wood Processing Machinery Committee, and Qiquan multi-functional woodworking machine tools were evaluated and approved as Chinese Woodworking Industry Ten Renowned Brand. Besides, planers and saws passed Chinese Machinery Safety Certification.
　　In 2002, Qiquan Woodworking Machinery launched QQ-ERP information system, which enabled the company to optimize the management of employees, logistics, funds and information, and provided instant and precise information for decision makers to control the smooth circulation of employees, funds and logistics.
　　In 2003, Qiquan MJ344 cabinet serrulate band saw was evaluated and approved as Shandong Symbolic Product by Shandong Quality Association, Shandong Enterprise Association, Shandong Enterpriser Association and Shandong Industrial & Economic Association. In addition, the dust collector passed CE certification.
　　Qiquan Woodworking Machinery continued to be honored with the titles of Top Hundred Enterprises by Shandong Machinery & Industry Administration, Shandong AAA Credit Enterprise and Weihai Top Hundred Credit Enterprises.
　　In recent years, the technicians scored great achievements in Worker’s Skill Sports Game at city and region levels, with respective winners obtaining gold, silver and bronze medals, which proved the overall strength and skill capability of the company. In 2005, Qiquan surface and thickness planers were evaluated and approved as Shandong Brand Product by Shandong Brand Strategy Promotion Committee and Shandong Quality & Technology Supervision Bureau.
　　In 2006, Qiquan Woodworking Machinery passed CE certification for various products in which saws were representative. Furthermore, Qiquan Woodworking Machinery passed Environment Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Administration System, with the aim of conforming to international standards.
